Neumann University is committed to the academic success of our students. As part of our commitment, Neumann’s policy is to provide all required textbooks and course materials for all first year, full time (12 or more credits) incoming freshman students. We understand that book purchases can be a struggle for new students. Therefore, all required books will be acquired on your behalf and ready for you to pick up at the Neumann University book store (Knights’ Shoppe) by Monday, August 20th. Your textbooks will include a combination of new, used and rented books along with access fees to online and e-documents that may be required by your professors. All freshman are required to obtain all textbooks in this manner through the Neumann University bookstore instead of other sources such as online retailers in accordance with this mandatory Neumann policy. The $450 per semester cost for your books will be reflected in the fees portion of your bill each semester.

How to view your textbooks online

  1.  First, make sure you have your course schedule in hand

  2. On the top of the page, you will see "Textbooks".  When you put your cursor on that, a drop down menu will appear.

  3. Click on "Course Materials" in the drop down menu.

  4.  In the middle of the page you will see in large bold letters “Select Your Courses” with three boxes below that.  They will be “Term, Select Department and Select Course and Section.” Select your term, in this case, it will be “SPRING 18”, after selecting your term, you can select your department.

  5.  Go through that list and select the departments for all your courses (for example: BUS, CDM, CHEM, etc.), then choose your courses.  You must select each course individually.

  6.  In the third list, you will see all of the course listings appear for the department you selected. Select the courses you are taking and make sure to specify your section (for example: A, B, C, etc.). If your section isn’t listed, check “All”. After choosing your course from the list, you need to click “Add Selection.”  The selections will then appear below in “Your Current Course List.”

  7.  After you have chosen all your courses, click "Get Course Materials."

  8. If you are having difficulty viewing your books online, please contact the Campus Store at (610)-558-5618 and we will assist you.
